Summary: Lance and Pietro take their twin boys for a day at the zoo. Schmoopy family adorableness ensues.

Warnings: Umm slash undertones, hobviously. And Lance in shorts and with scruff. And tooth-hurting domestic sweetness. And maybe confusion if you're unfamiliar with the 'AAO' AU?

In light of it being nearly Father's day, and the fact that I've really been meaning to draw for this for a while, here's some fanart for 's fantastic AU, Against All Odds. This is set 3-4 years after the current arc.

Art-y notes: I know real zoos don't work like this. Artistic licence blah blah. I also really don't think Lance, especially being a cop and all and generally more responsible than Pietro, would actually let his kid out of his sight for more than two seconds for this to occur. (He was probably responsibly retrieving juice boxes or sunscreen or something. Because you just know Pietro put him in charge of lugging around the backpack-o'shit that comes with taking kids anywhere.) That being said, two seconds is probably all that the twin who looks like Pietro needs to get into trouble. And horrified!Lance (now with too-lazy-to-shave-on-his-day-off-stubble!) is my favourite breed of Lance to draw.

In my head, Lance was actually able to take one of his bazillion banked holiday days in the middle of the week so the zoo wouldn't be crowded. Pietro was way ahead of his article deadline. It didn't rain. Balloons and ice cream and fun were had by all. Also, Pietro, white shirt? You have children. Tsk tsk. Also also, just try to tell me that Evo!Avalanche doesn't have a Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt, because I will laugh in your face. (Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries) Also also also, Loose Scrapper is single-handedly responsible for my current obsession of drawing aged-up Evo!Pietro in glasses. Because he's effing adorable in glasses.

ION, I have no idea what kind of animals those are. Perhaps pumas? Or sabre-toothed tigers? And the path is my favourite part of this picture. FAX. <3
